This 2003 Ford Explorer is actually my work vehicle. I decided to drop in a small system, in case any local shows come up. I chose the Premier DEH-P880PRS head unit. It has great sq properties, in an all-in-one package.
The doors hold the 6 1/2" mids from a Bazooka RX-6s component set. The tweeters from the set are mounted high on the A-pillars. The system is straight forward and simple.
This is the amprack, which is built on the front of the sub box. A MGA1300 supplies power to the subs, while the MGA265 powers the component set. I mounted the crossovers on the rack, in case I needed to make any adjustments later.
This a ported enclosure for two Bazooka El-8014 8" woofers. This small box puts out more than enough bass.
