When I found out I would be working on this car, I did some research and found out that there have been a few stereo shops that have turned away these vehicles. One is reported to have turned away the car because they couldn't get the radio out.
Since the customer wanted to keep his OEM Blaupunkt speakers, I ran new wiring to all four mids   and ran those wires to the trunk along with the signal cables form his new Pioneer premier DEHP400UB cd player. The USB/iPod cable was routed to a pocket to the left of the steering wheel.
Because of weight and space requirements, we chose a single 5 channels amp to run the whole system. Alpine was our first choice since the PDX-5 packs so much value and power into such a small package. It was mounted in the trunk.
Space is at a premium in this car. I built a custom box that sits up against the firewall on the passenger side floorboard. To protect the subwoofer, i built it to fire forward. Braces keep some space between the subs face and the actual firewall. This allows the passenger to putthier feet on the box, without damaging the sub.
Ballin' on a Budget
This customer came in with a "I want it done Right!" attitude, by actually a Flea Market mentality. So He went back and forth with my manager, until he got the price reduced to something more along the lines of his budget.

He was a sent to us by another shop, so I wanted to make him happy. He got all of the vinyl work for free.
This is a Pioneer Double Din i installed for a Manager at another Mobile One. It went into a 200 Chevy Silverado
