Customer install in a Nissan 350z Show Car
The customer was paying the body shop to work on this car at the same time we were doing our install. Our timeline was four days. The car came from the body shop with no panels, and most of the interior stripped for painting. We refinished the upper door panels, where there was some overspray from painting the lower portion. We also made bolt-on speaker pods for the Boston Acoustics components.
Robert Sandlin was my partner in crime on this install. He had 90% of the wiring ran, and the radio ready to go the first day. The kit had to be custom built because of the face on the Alpine double din.
This was close to the finished product for our part. There were still panels that needed to be finished at the body shop.

This is a shot of the Alpine amprack. These are the new pdx amplifiers. Two 1000 watt amps on the subs, and a four channel for the Boston mids and highs.
The sub enclosure is made out of fiberglass and MDF. We wrapped it in silver Carbon-Fiber vinyl. The deadline to finish the car was SO close, the salesman on the job was getting dirty helping me wrap panels.
